Who aM i?

I’m Emma, an independently-published author from East Yorkshire in England. I started publishing my works when I was eighteen, after writing for years, being shortlisted for Wattpad’s Watty Awards, and craving a wider audience to share my work with.

Since then, I’ve written and self-published a wide range of fiction for both young adults aged 13-17 and younger children. My books tend to be cosy and quintessentially British, with a mix of mysterious, heartwarming, and sometimes romantic plotlines!

When I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me exploring new settings for my books, cooking, painting, or illustrating my new works… and their covers! All artwork you find inside and on the front/backs of my books is drawn completely by me, and I write out a lot of my titles and headers by hand. Creating personal, meaningful fiction is really important to me, and I hope that comes across in my work.

My biggest passion is creating, whether that’s in the form of creative fiction, blog posts, photos, artwork or more. I love to read and I love to explore, and my goal is to help other young girls find solace in these activities, too.
